have absolutely no experience with elec. i am re-doing my garage and would like to add a 15 amp dust collector(and three blast gates), a 15 amp miter saw,air compressor a shop light or two, radio, battery chargers, band saw, drill press, belt sander…. i would also like to add 1 or 2 220v outlets for future use(so about 15 outlets).as of now i only have two accesable outlets and a 25 + year old breaker that is very poorly marked and i believe full . i also believe that i need to have one of the rooms in my house moved to a seperate breaker because when i turn on to many electronics at once it flips the breaker off and it is just when there are a few household items running like a hairdryer or a tv other than not knowing about elec. or how many things i can hook up and whatnot i was basically just wondering if you could give me a quick run down on whether im on teh right path thinking i need an additional subpanel befor i call an electrician could you please give me a rough estimate of what im looking at in cost and time. thank you for all your help
Which screw driver set would be better?
I want to buy my husband some tools for our anniversary …. He loves craftsman tools and I was thinking of getting him a new screwdriver set, since he doesn’t have a full set. He already owns a compound miter saw, air compressor, impact tools, sockets, 19.2 volt cordless drill and add ons, cobalt blue 3 tiered craftsman tool box, circular saw, jigsaw, router, chain saw, table saw, saw horses and a ton of tools in the tool box… Do you think any of these would make a good gift…Im lost as to what to get him, I want to get him something he likes and will use…not something dumb like a pillow case with my picture on it LOL

How would I build a wooden advent calendar?
Hello everyone! I have a bit of a problem… I’d like to build a wooden advent calender, similar to the one pictured here: http://www.thecompanystore.com/parent/Holiday+Decor/3750/AK82X/ but I’m not quite sure where to start. Let me list my problems and the tools I have and maybe someone can help me start this thing off (please note: I’m not trying to copy the exact job, since I’ll be doing my paint differently… I just like the concept and would like to adapt and personalize it for my son).
*The first problem I’m having is how to exactly build the wooden grid. I can’t find anything like premade in craft stores (and no plans online), so I’d assume I have to build it myself. Can you help?
*As far as dimensions go, I’m thinking 1/2" thick grid lines and 4" square wooden boxes. Does that sound too large? Should I go with 1/4" grids and 3" boxes?
Here’s what I have: 10" compound miter saw, a regular-sized Dremel tool, a Skil Router, circular saw & jig saw.
Thanks a bunch!
What kind of saw to cut 16 gauge 1" square steel tube?
I’m doing a project that requires cutting 1" 16 gauge square steel tube. I need to make about 50 cuts, many of them at an angle. I am going to be welding these pieces together after cutting. I was originally looking at circular saws but then came across mitre saws and realized that I could measure out the angle cuts much easier. Anyway, i don’t specifically need a mitre saw or a circular saw, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to cut this pipe accurately. I can probably spend around 0. Maybe there are cheap non-mechanized saws that can cut this steel with a proper blade? maybe there are cheap jig saws that can do the job? maybe there are cheap sawzalls? I need these cuts to be relatively clean and so my tool wont break on me or kill me or bankrupt me? help anyone?
Here are some I was looking at but i’m not sure if they can do the job:
